The Need For Speed...
In January 2014 we received an email from Claire and Richard looking for wedding invitations, and they were in a hurry. They were getting married on 4th April 2014 at The Crazy Bear, in Oxfordshire, and still hadn't sent out any invitations for their guests!! We knew the challenge was on!!
When asked why they hadn't send any invitations out yet, they said "We just couldn't find the right design...". But when they fell upon the VivienB's website for wedding invitations they knew they had found the perfect wedding stationery company.
Claire says "We loved the designs on the website (although, the pictures still don't do the quality of the wedding stationery justice) and from the moment we contacted Adrian he couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. We had a short time scale, which didn't phase the VivienB's team. Debbie was fantastic and the website that enabled guests to RSVP online was great. Nearly all of our guests commented on how stunning the invites were".
In all truth, we were a little phased by the 2 week production timescale, but at VivienB's we always feel a bride and groom should never have to worry about a thing. Plus we just don't believe in the word "NO".
Claire and Richard chose the Luxury Pearla Invitation collection from VivienB's in Black, Creme and Gold, which complimented their wedding theme perfectly, with pearl embellishments. They also chose to extend this collection theme into their wedding day too, with table plan, guest place settings and table names to match.
Claire and Richard also chose to have their guests RSVP from a FREE designed wedding web page from VivienB's, called "LOVE to attend". See here (Online RSVP) for a sneak peak of their page, which also allowed their guests to choose their own menu choice!
The Happy Day
The night before Claire and Richard were to be wed, The VivienB's Wedding Stationery Team had the honour of setting up their wedding reception room at The Crazy Bear in Stadhampton. Wow! What a venue! Tented ceilings, Mirrored tables, Gold Chairs and of course, once we had finished, as essence of VivienB's thrown in! It looked stunning to say the least.
After the wedding we asked Claire to describe their special day and if she had any advice for other couples planning a wedding.
Describe your wedding in three words?
Overwhelmingly emotional, amazing & perfect
What were your themes/colours of the day?
Gold, Black, Ivory & Pearls - these all complimented the Crazy Bear (our venue).
What would be your top tip to any bride planning their wedding?
Enjoy it, don't let it overwhelm you and savour the day. It goes so quickly so take time out to appreciate the emotion of the day and having all of the people you love together.
Also plan what needs to be and by when and do a budget and then add 30%! You only do it once so have no regrets, it's worth it.
What is the no.1 "must have" on your wedding day?
Entertainment following the ceremony and during dinner went down really well - e.g. caricaturist. This resulted in much laughter and conversation amongst the guests and also meant the guests had a memento from the day.
If you could have changed one thing about your special day, what would it be?
My husband - only joking!! We'd invite more guests to the evening.
Why did you choose VivienB's to create your wedding stationery for you?
We loved the designs on the website (although the pictures still don't do the quality of the stationary justice) and from the moment we contacted Adrian he couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. We had a short time scale, which didn't phase the VivienB team. Debbie was fantastic and the website that enabled guests to RSVP online was great. Nearly all of our guests commented on how stunning the invites were. Thanks again to you and Debbie for all of your hard work.
I'm sure you'll agree, what an incredible wedding day it looks. It was our Honour to have been a part of it, and we would like to take the opportunity to say Congratulations and Thank You Claire and Richard for using VivienB's. We wish you all the happiness for your future together!!
